Company OVERVIEW

SSR Development's founder, Ash Rahimi established the company in 2015, with the purpose of alleviating shortages in the affordable housing market. True to its foundation, SSR continues to garner redevelopment success in the affordable housing market and other asset classes, including single-family, multi-family, and retail projects. While SSR Development remains a privately-owned firm, we have evolved into a full-service real estate developer & operator. Our team has developed over $150 Million in real estate and over 1 million leasable square feet. By applying modern technology, innovation, and sustainability to all our projects, our firm continues to create value for the communities we serve and the investors & stakeholders we work with.

Ash Rahimi

Founder & Principal
Mr. Ash Rahimi is a seasoned real estate development professional with over 12 years of experience. As the principal of SSR Development, Mr. Rahimi leads all divisions of operations, business development, and construction. Mr. Rahimi has gained extensive experience developing projects under various asset classes, including single-family, multifamily, and retail. His experience extends to all phases of the development process, including facility planning, financing, entitlements, budgeting, design, construction, FF&E planning, commissioning, lease-up, and property management. Passionate about the communities he serves, Mr. Rahimi is dedicated to providing solutions to affordable housing shortages in the greater DC area and beyond.
